GAMEPOINT EVENT SURVEY - Win 10 x 2,500 Coins!

GAMEPOINT EVENT SURVEY - Win 10 x 2,500 Coins!
At GamePoint, we pride ourselves in putting together online events unlike anything you'd find in any other online game. To bring you new events and improve on our current events, we'd love to ask you some questions.

Below you can immediately start filling in the online survey. Additionally you can open it by clicking here. It contains a handful of questions about our recent "Fall in Love with GamePoint" event and your general event-related likes and dislikes. At the end of the week, we will randomly select 10 participants to receive a 2,500 Coin package each.

Thank you for helping out and have a wonderful day!

Hello tracy54,

Regarding the giveaway on Sunday the 15th, our computer picked one player at random every hour. The pool from which to pick from though, was thousands and thousands of players across all our regions. So it really came to luck (players with more medals had more chance, but still faced competition from those thousands and thousands). But everyone got to take advantage of the free Coin gifts from visiting those games during the week, on top of the free Coin gifts that you can claim every 3 hours. :)

for the most part Loved the event however you offered free VIP i didn't recieve that i was also offered 15% off my VIP to renew I did for 3 months still charged 19.00 no spcial there .. also per my email that i would bet getting extra month because my vip was taken off in error that did not happen either.. trying out different games was difficult as well no clear instructions on how to play the games.. as far as the coins are concerned they are a bit cheap in my oppionion considering the fact that alot of us play bingo . and pay alot for fake ~~ chips !!! (seriously considering not buying anymore) as personally I have been on this site for several years and have yet to win a pattern or a full card when I have and others have seen the same people win sometimes twice in a day.. theres is a problem with this GP staff.. so when u have a coin sale as you did valentines weekend its nice you should do more often for the svips that would ge good too maybe once a month just for the SVIPs that paid for at least 3 months membership what do you think.. anyways not really complaining just giving a bit of feedback over all i like this site very much have many freinds here .. thanks again gp for all the bingo wins I do get

Hello Kathyann4! I'll use this space to address your multiple comments. :) Sorry for the long response!

For the free VIP gift, you did indeed claim it. But because you were already SuperVIP, it was simply added to your original expiration date. And the Coin gifts for visiting those games? You successfully receive them (specifically Poker and CardParty since you mentioned them). They're in your Wallet in the Gifts tab.

Regarding the "un-VIPing", that was actually a separate issue from the event, thus why we reached out to those affected players. And are you referring to the "Early Bird" price for renewing your subscription? Please contact our Helpdesk (because we'll need to discuss some details about your account) and we'll look into that asap!

For the game instructions, we posted them for each 'Game of the Day' on our news page (including a little timeline of that game's growth on GamePoint). I do agree with the opinion of a lot of players that accessing these rules or further clearing them up could be better done though.

About winning chances, as you know, all cards, balls, numbers, dice throws, etc. are randomly generated by a computer program. And things like player name, subscription, amount of Coins, region, etc., do not have any sort of influence on them. It's not possible in any way to "prevent" a player from winning or make any player "win easier." As a true game of chance, all Bingo cards have the same chance at the beginning of the game. But there are strategies to increase winning opportunities. For example, if a player is always playing the max amount of cards and has few (actively playing) opponents in a room, then it's likely that they'll win more. As for the giveaways, it's simply a matter of luck. Every hour, one player was randomly selected from the tens of thousands that were online.

The frequency of sales, if we offer sales too often, well then it starts to become something not special, right? No promises, but we generally try to do something exciting (be it event or sale or both) for major holidays. And even if it's not a sale, players can still experience opportunities for more free Coins or free subscriptions. Or even win actual things (like cash during the Valentine's event, like iPads during Winter Wonder Week back in December, etc.).

I hope you mentioned these points in the above survey so we can keep all that sort of information together. And I also really appreciate you taking the time to express your feedback in a respectful manner. :) We hope to hear from you via Helpdesk for those two issues you've mentioned. And in the meantime, wishing you lots of luck when playing!

If everyting is random how can the same players win so many super bingos and games. I ran this stuff no fool here.
AidaGP -
Hi curtaincall,

We use a Random Number Generator to determine all balls, cards, numbers, dice throws, etc. Things like player name, region, Coin amount, account type, etc. have absolutely no influence on how those balls/cards/numbers/dice throws appear. We even had this program tested by an independant third party (you can see our certificate here //www.gamepoint.com/help/aboutus.php?path=9&location=).

Everything really comes down to luck. In smaller rooms, some players use all cards available and perhaps they may not have many opponents actively playing. But aside from these sorts of strategies, there is no preferential treatment or bias for any player for any game on GamePoint. Hope this explains things!

I don't feel that the communication lines are as good as they could be between players and officials. The chat area sometimes become abusive and when they are reported you have been good about taking corrective action.
The community page seems to be updated too seldom and the events do not always seem to be in a easy to understand order.
Have not won,k buthave enjoyed playing bingo because that is really why I come to the site. The changes you made a few months back were good changes and you responded well to suggestions by players. If I had a real complaint it is there are too few rooms with game cards that assist players in knowing anumber on that card has been called (like Bingo Fever) -- unless they are the more expensive rooms, which are games I do not participate in because that would defeat the purpose of my playing the games for pleasure on a small income.

Hello Gert2,

Thanks for taking the time to provide your feedback. We really appreciate it. :)

Regarding inappropriate behavior in the chat, when you click on a player's name to "Report Player", that sends the chat of the last 5 minutes to our staff for review. Our staff looks at the context and then decides whether or not it warrants a sanction. So the sanction may come later, but the cases are still reviewed.

For the community page, you're referring to this blog/news section, correct? I could see how all giant flurry of posts about an event (like the longer, multi-day ones) could get rather unclear. And we try to post when there's something important to communicate (updates, events) or something cool to share (like well wishes for holidays). We'll work on keeping it interesting!
