Which is why we’re going to introduce you some of our colleagues in these exclusive interviews. Today we spoke to: ElodieGP
#1 What is your name and what do you do at GamePoint?
Hi! I'm Elodie, and I'm the Community Manager for the French-speaking players!
#2 How long have you been working at GamePoint and what are some of your favorite tasks?
I started working at GamePoint in February, this year (2020). I like to organize weekly quizzes for the players, to write about updates, to create the communication elements for events, and to participate in the live events!
#3 What are your hobbies besides GamePoint?
I like to play video games, watch series, spend time with my friends and family. I'm also an avid reader, I just read a LOT, and I'm also writing! I have a soft spot for fantasy/horror books. There's nothing I love more than a fantasy/horror book with a strong female character and an incredible atmosphere.
#4 What is your favorite thing about working at GamePoint?
I like that I can be creative and that I get to interact with people. There's nothing better, in my opinion, than making people happy, and it's what I try to do every day with my work. I also love the live events! There's a very nice atmosphere in the office when they happen. We all have dinner together and we laugh a lot! I like the people I get to work with, and this in itself is one of my favorite things about working at GamePoint.
#5 Can you tell us a fun fact about yourself?
I'm a goofy person. I like to make jokes. They're not always fun, but I like to make them! As for a fun fact: I hate when people crack the spine of their books, and I never lend mine because I'm afraid they would come back broken.
#6 What’s your favorite GamePoint game?
CardParty! At first it was GamePoint Bingo, and I do love GamePoint Bingo, but I prefer CardParty now, especially when we have small tournaments and I get to play with/against our players!
#7 What is your favorite event or livestream that we’ve done so far?
I liked the live show I did with Dorian during the Golden Days, when we had the headbands with the small hats. Alex was dressed up like a leprechaun and was throwing gifts at us. I was afraid I would get knocked out by a gift during the show, but thankfully that didn't happen!
#8 What is your favorite GamePoint memory?
Before one of the live shows, we were all dining together. We had homemade lasagnas (vegetarian for me), and Nadine put on some music. We ended up singing Call Me Maybe, and it was fun!
#9 Is there something you would like to say to our players?
Be nice to each other! You're here to have fun, not to fight! Consider how much you can do on GamePoint: there’s many free games to play, so everyone can enjoy what they like the most. You also have access to very different cultures! You want to learn Italian? Go play with the Italian players, some may even give you the recipe of a real pasta. You want to learn French? By all means, come speak French with the French players! You love American football, but no one around you does? Talk about it with the American players! And while you open your mind, you get to have fun ingame.
#10 Which colleague would you nominate for an exclusive interview in the future, and why?
I would like to know more about MarcianoGP. The ladies love him, and I'm sure they will applaud my choice!
