New chat announcements, RoyalDice clock feature and more!

At GamePoint, we work around the clock to create and maintain the best possible gaming experience. Today’s maintenance allowed us to sneak in a couple of new features that we’re excited to present to you.

Chat announcements
Don’t you hate missing the most important and most interesting game news? Not anymore! We redesigned our chat announcement design entirely with new, bold background colors to guarantee you'll always be up to date. Never miss a general announcement, important messages or (for Bingo players) the list of winners again!

RoyalDice clock feature
RoyalDice players are among the coolest and funniest people out there, so it’s no surprise many players often forget about time while playing and chatting. To help you not miss your turn, we implemented a new clock feature that will light up when you only have a couple of seconds left to complete your turn.

Smaller bug fixes
We implemented various smaller bug fixes to improve your overall game performance.

They're very unsightly ... Any chat gets lost in the mix of hideous colors !!!

NOT an improvement by any means ...
When did someone complain that they couldn't tell the difference between players chat AND GP staffs chat?

There has always been a notable difference in the chats ...

You should remove this latest update ...

IT'S TERRIBLE !!!

Hi there, we appreciate the feedback. If there's no active chat (in Bingo for example), then indeed the announcements are 'loud'. But when there's an active and healthy chat (as I watched in several big rooms), then there's not much difference.

We created this with things like event announcements in mind, so you don't miss your (own) name announced as a winner because it's very often that when I chat with giveaway winners, they had no idea! So here's hoping that this carries lots of good news for you in the future

I don't mind the change in colors within the chat, but what I did mind and find very distracting, is the change you made to some of the numbers in various rooms, they are now smaller, which is and could be bothersome to people. I find it very difficult to see the numbers on cards now in these various rooms. Thanks for the update, always enjoy seeing new stuff

Hi Jennifer, thanks for the feedback.

For sure, we did not change the size of the numbers in Bingo, or the size of cards. The only change in the game itself (chat colors aside), is that we added some animations to the daubers. So now they have a little bit of movement. We'll keep an eye on it and maybe we're able to make some improvement either way.

i don't like the chat changes either ,the colors and how fast it moves gave me a killer headache,not to mention you cant read the names and if you leave a room for a sec you cant even see what was said or who the winners were like sbs for example,also seems to be a LOT of glitches today in a LOT of rooms,last night with not getting credit for a vert in sb yo today where there are several rooms with no names you cant enter and the free rooms were froze for a long delay because of the nameless room LOL i want my old bingo back :(

We're actually performing a quick maintanence right now (as of this comment) to fix some of the issues you mentioned (nameless rooms). ;)

I hate it too,so much that i may have to stop playing,its too big takes up too much area just plain annoying.And as far as announcements go,if ya win something you will find out anyway,i think it was done more for sales etc to make money,i think chat should be just that CHAT,people can check the news for anything else.

Thank you Gamepoint. I like the new chat. Just wish You would Stop let the servers. chose the same players to win everyday. and over and over again. And dont even say its all random. Because, Its not. Thank you . Plz May chances to winners and new winners. thanks

I really like the changes. I found the Chat Annoucements helpful and colorful but a bit distracting. May I suggest that the Chat Announcements be colorfully translucent rather than the solid color you have now. I believe it would be less distracting when playing.
